Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a musically inclined family. The music she grew up with was classic and old boleros, and traditional romantic and Ranchero songs. Ana loves Tangos. She also loves operas, and every form of dramatic performance. Following her singing lessons with mom and sister, she began more intense training in vocals at age 16 under the tutelage of renown Mexican Tenor FlavioBecerra. In the School of Music of Guadalajara University as well as the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico continued her music education. Her early professional career included performances with a variety of orchestras, chamber ensembles, and opera choirs and chamber groups in Guadalajara. Following her move from Mexico to America at the age of 2000, she performed for the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. The singer currently sings traditional Latin American songs at private occasions as a soloist. Her passion for the performing arts, music, as well as the arts keeps her involved in local activities both as an artist and teacher. Ana is also a previous member of the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana enjoys singing the traditional Latin American songs and hopes that she can inspire others to do the same.
